AM SO TIRED OF PEOPLE COMMENTING ON MY HAIR

This week wasn't a good one, I hope all the best for the next :) and the next, and the next, and the next till the year ends
Yesterday eve stayed back to talk to me after school, it was therapeutic.
Found this on her tumblr, this was why I felt so compelled to write "Nothing is worth dying for" for GP essay test recently. But I guess I screwed up, meh I think my GP's been really deteriorating lately.
On a last note, need to remember this

SOCCER CAMP WAS SO FUN HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Felt like some soccer chalet instead of camp! Sometimes I felt so soccer-spammed, especially the first day beach soccer/ futsal at the Cage/ match against Whitley/ watching Sg vs Oman at night. But teammates were awesome <3 everything with them is automatically more funx10000
Like randomly warbling Pretty Woman or Kungfu Fighting in Band hero when we don't even know the tune, trying to be high during the boring 0-0 Oman match (Danitza and amanda: "come on we gotta be high, say YESSSSSSSSSSSS you gotta have the spit coming out")
And Pictionary man was absolutely hilarious, Jieqi draws two stick figures, one male and one female
Everyone: "Couple! Married! Incest? Father daughter uncle niece sister brother"
Jieqi: "Brother yeah brother, in hokkien!!!!"
Ju: "Gor!"
Jieqi: "Okay that's the first syllable.." -draws something that vaguely resembles rice and food-
Everyone: "Chinese! Korean! Japanese!"
Jieqi: "Yeah yeah Japanese, another word another word"
Me: "DON, oh GORDON. GORDON RAMSAY!!!!!!!"
Amanda even managed to make us guess Oliver cromwell, HAHAHA. Can't wait for all the photos to be uploaded on fbook, especially yinhwee's deer caught in the headlights shot, amanda's gross marshmallow in braces shot, lynette's alcohol shot

I saw a rainbow on my birthday! It was the biggest one i've ever seen and it stretched across almost half the sky. Made me grin like an idiot, honestly. And a bunch of waiters and waitresses sang Happy Birthday to me in Italian :)
Couldn't really keep track of when people were posting on fbook cos of the time difference, and people were texting me when i was sleeping but thanks to everyone who wished me happy birthday :) :) :)
Back in sunny singapore and it feels so great, I don't know why. Once the plane landed, the air stewardess said "to those visiting singapore, we hope you enjoy your stay here. And to those returning from overseas, welcome home". It felt so awesome, even if the woman in the aisle across kept nagging at her daughter to "aiyoh keep your seatbelt on till the plane stops lah", total linguistic shock after the acrolectal English in the States and Canada
Well, time to get a start on holiday homework (all I did till now is the book review in Issues and Ideas, which I didn't mind doing anyway cos I read a really good book) and back to trainings and meeting up with all the people i've missed/ present exchange.. and soon enough it'll be Christmas and 2010, a brand new year.
Eve came over to spend the day because I couldn't leave the sisters at home, and we went out for icecream yum. Thanks for the awesome afternoon even though it was pretty depressing sometimes, cheer up and be brave bff! I'll be here for you :)

Day 1, 23 days left - yes I'm counting
My aunt's laptop is terribly small, yeah portable I guess but it's so hard to type!!!! Because of the time difference, I think I haven't slept for one day and a half? Idk though, I'm the one who got an S in math so maybe I'm not counting right hahaha.
Woke up at 4AM, reached the airport at five plus to check in and spent the rest of the time buying stuff for my aunt/ uncle in the US and the parents' friends in Vancouver. Stupid 10hour flight after hk, turbulent landing all the passengers were looking quite greenish when I looked around HAHA
Can't believe that in total we're taking eight flights, counting transit. OMG I hate flights, from the safety measures "when you hear 'brace, brace' place your head between your knees... our cabin crew are currently pointing to the emergency doors" and unpalatable plane food to the washrooms that flush with an unnecessarily loud and scary sound and seats that somehow can't retract back :(
Feeling v bitchy/ whiny must stop stop stop
On the bright side I watched 500 days of summer (finally, after I missed watching it with the rest oh man I love the soundtrack, and Zooey deschanel's clothes and hair accessories) and The proposal on the plane!!! Slept the rest of the time, or created playlists with the inflight music
It's pretty cold in California, I never knew my relatives lived in Silicon valley!!! So wherever we go I see lots of valleys (okay fine, duh but the scenery honestly looks like a faded postcard photo) and Oracle, Yahoo etc. Had chinese takeout for lunch and went to Target for groceries, so much stuff is cheaper here HELLO $2.50 for a tub of Ben and Jerry's!?
Am only looking forward to Disneyland and skiing in Whistler. And shopping, I think I'll buy a lot of food hahahha like Reese's peanut butter cups and Starbursts :D but other than that.. okay I'm just rambling on here, I wish I was back in sunny Singapore

Really need to watch Garden State, another movie on my list of to-watchs :) along with Candy, Bright star, Atonement, The lovely bones, Across the universe, Paris j'taime and Before sunrise. I have so many lists in my head all the time, might as well start a listography account soon

parisbaby_2003, her pictures aren't as beautiful as Cannelle et vanille or any professional photographer, but she takes classes at a pastry school and the stuff she bakes is amazing!!! Petit fours, clafoutis, napoleons, chiboust tarts, wedding cakes. And at school, she has lab baking classes, the marks for their semesters are calculated based on how well they bake, and they do stuff like cake and chocolate showpieces. It's really so different from what we do as students, it makes me feel my life is boring.. okay which it probably is.My stupid voice isn't getting better and OP is one day away!? So I figure I'm just going to stumble through the whole thing praying that I don't start coughing midway, and that my voice doesn't break.
Also, I went to the salon today and had my hair cut. BAD DECISION, my fringe looks like it's randomly chopped short. Really short btw, because the guy originally thought I wanted bangs so he whacked it all off. And then I said 'nonono fringe to the side' but it was too late, and I refuse to have bangs cos idk, everyone has bangs! So now when I tie it up it looks even worse :(

I've been so bored (okay apart from doing powerpoint slides and trying to memorise my script and going out) that I've been reduced to watching Peter chao on youtube. Honestly it's really quite funny! Okay I guess not everyone gets the humour, my dad thinks I'm disgusting for watching such stuff.

Today was good :) a little bit of pw and Layeng and I watched the rest train (go and see a doctor tle, it's looks like more than just a swollen bruise this is BAD) and lunch at Aston's. Then back to school for volleyball and squash and Danitza is v funny hahahahahaha "we can do this!!! flyyyy~" she gets so high over volleyball. Or maybe just sports in general, "okay last game" then another "last game" "last game I swear" "last game!!!" for squash because it was really fun. Then bridge with this random pack of cards we found at 7G's bench, and dinner with Eve <3
